Description of content: The proposed amendments seek to:

  1. Revise the specifications of bacterial count in ice cream, ice cream powder type and ice cream mix:

-        Ice cream, Low-fat ice cream: 100,000 cfu/ml -> n=5, c=2, m=10,000, M=100,000

-        Ice milk, Sherbet, Non-fat ice cream: 50,000 cfu/ml -> n=5, c=2, m=10,000, M=50,000

-        Ice cream powder, Ice milk powder, Sherbet powder, Non-ice cream powder: 50,000 cfu/g -> n=5, c=2, m=10,000, M=50,000

-        Ice cream mix, Low-fat ice cream mix: 100,000 cfu/ml -> n=5, c=2, m=10,000, M=100,000

-        Ice milk mix, Sherbet mix, Non-fat ice cream mix: 50,000 cfu/ml -> n=5, c=2, m=10,000, M=50,000

  1. Revise the definition and specifications of seasoned meat and processed product extracted from meat;
  2. Modify terminologies and phrases used in the Standards and Specifications for Livestock Products.
